MAIRB Jun 01. 2023 (Saba) - Community initiatives have been implemented in Al-Jouba district in Marib province, in cooperation with the local council, the Road Maintenance Fund, and the Higher Agricultural and Fisheries Committee, to address torrential damage to agricultural lands and roads.
The director of the Youth and Sports Office in the province, Qayed Nimran, stressed the importance of community initiatives to address the damage caused to agricultural lands as a result of the torrential rains that the district witnessed.
He pointed out the importance of the community's role in activating community initiatives to overcome the challenges posed by the aggression and blockade.
The coordinator of Bonyan Foundation, Yasser Saber pointed to holding meetings to raise awareness of the importance of community initiatives and their development, embodying the spirit of cooperation and solidarity, and focusing on the agricultural aspect.
In turn, a number of notables of Al-Jouba district affirmed their continuation in implementing community initiatives within the framework of reviving the values of solidarity, and providing the community's service needs, with the help of its children, in order to achieve sustainable local development.
