AMRAN November 23. 2023 (Saba)- The Director General of Al-Asha District in Amran province, Abdul Karim Mansour, inspected the progress of work in implementing community initiative projects at Al-Masirah checkpoint in the Balak area and the Martyr Commander checkpoint in Maqnah area.
During the visit, the director of the directorate listened to an explanation from members of the beneficiaries’ committees and citizens about the progress of work at the two checkpoints, the difficulties facing it, and ways to solve them.
Mansour praised the efforts of the people of the directorate in implementing these initiatives, which will contribute to alleviating suffering, especially in light of the shift towards the agricultural sector to achieve self-sufficiency and confront the challenges imposed by the aggression and siege.
For their part, Director of the Office of Agriculture and Irrigation, Abdullah Baaran, and Director of Initiatives in the Directorate, Mansour Al-Ghamari, appreciated the interest of the province’s leadership, the Central Emergency Interventions Unit of the Ministry of Finance, and the Executive Unit for financing community projects, initiatives, and their support for initiative projects in the Directorate.
He was accompanied during the visit by the Director of the Education Office, Muhammad Qaban, the Initiatives Mansour Al-Ghamari, the President of the Al-Asha Association, Yahya Munif, the Executive Director of the Association, Yahya Al-Ghamari, the coordinators of the Bonyan Foundation in the Directorate, Fawaz Sorour, Zaid Al-Bakri, the Knights of Development, and a number of social figures.
