SANA'A July 18. 2023 (SABA) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, met today, at the Presidency House in the capital, Sana'a, the head of the General Authority for Awqaf, Allama Abdul Majeed Al-Houthi.

During the meeting, the head of the Awqaf Authority presented a report on what was accomplished during the year 1444 AH, of the work programs of the Authority and the endowment projects it implemented that serve the purposes of the endowers.

He reviewed the plans of the authority and its offices in the governorates for the year 1445 AD, and the programs that will be implemented in the context of protecting the lands of endowments, their assets and properties, and benefiting from their revenues in order to achieve the desired goals. President Al-Mashat stressed the importance of the humanitarian, faith and national endowment role, and the disbursement of its resources according to the purposes of the endowers, and in a way that achieves the legal and religious intent of the endowment.
