SANA'A October 13.2023 (Saba)- His Excellency President Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, made a phone call with the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziad Al-Nakhalah.
During the call, the President blessed the Palestinian people and the Islamic nation with “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, which stuck the nose of the Zionist enemy in the mud and presented it as it really is, as a fragile entity on the verge of collapse, stressing the principled, religious and moral position of the Yemeni leadership and people in supporting the Palestinian people until complete victory.
He said, "The Palestinian issue is the central issue of the Arab and Islamic nation, and Palestine is the nation's first advanced bulwark. Today, the resistance movements in Palestine are waging, with their mujahideen and heroes, the battle of the entire nation."
President Al-Mashat stressed that the operation represented a turning point and the beginning of history, and the Israeli enemy will never recover after it. He considers what the Zionist enemy is doing against civilians in Gaza to be condemnable crimes against humanity, and he will not escape its consequences and will retaliate against him in the near future.
He condemned the American and Western position in support of all the crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against the civilians of Gaza, indicating that America had fallen miserably , resoundingly and would not be able to restore Israel’s shattered dignity.
His Excellency the President praised the unity of the popular Palestinian position and the Palestinian resistance movements in responding to and deterring the Zionist enemy, as an important step towards the victory for Al-Quds and the full restoration of the Palestinian right, with the liberation of the land and holy sites, the release of prisoners, and the return of the diaspora to the land of Palestine.
He called on all Arab and Islamic countries to take positions in support of the Palestinian people and their militant resistance, support them with money , weapons, boycott American and Israeli goods.
For his part, Al-Nakhalah, expressed his thanks to the President Al-Mashat for his communication, follow-up of the Palestinian cause, people and resistance, which reflects the extent of the oppression that Palestine and Yemen are experiencing at the hands of the forces of hegemony and global arrogance.
He appreciated the courageous, steadfast and honest position of the Yemeni people, leadership and people, with the Palestinian cause. He said, "The Palestinians are betting on the Yemeni people to stand up and support the Palestinian people."
Al-Nakhal saluted the large and widespread mass mobilization of the Yemeni people in the capital, Sana'a, and the rest of the provinces, supporting and assisting the Palestinian cause.
