GAZA March 30. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas issued a statement on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of Land Day, in which it affirmed that the battle of “Al-Aqsa Flood” is an extension of the Palestinian people’s journey to defend the land and the holy sites until their legitimate rights are taken away , their aspirations for liberation and return are achieved.
The movement said in its statement on Saturday: “The 48th anniversary of Earth Day coincides this year with the heroic battle of Al-Aqsa Flood that our patient people stationed and our valiant resistance in Gaza Strip are waging for six full months, with all faith, sacrifice and steadfastness, in defense of their land, their rights and their sanctities.”
It pointed out that the souls of the martyrs of “Al-Aqsa Flood” today embrace the souls of the martyrs of a group of Palestinians on March 30, 1976 AD, and their pure blood on the proud land of Gaza mixes with the blood of the martyrs in the Triangle, Galilee, and Negev in our lands occupied in 1948 AD.
The movement stressed that Land Day will remain an eternal national symbol and an honorable milestone in the history of the Palestinian people’s struggle, drawing inspiration from it in their ongoing journey, the signs of steadfastness, sacrifice and challenge, to keep the flame of resistance burning in theZionist enemy's face, its fascist government and the herds of settlers, in all the squares of the homeland. Which will not end or be extinguished except with comprehensive liberation and the establishment of a fully sovereign Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.
The movement also affirmed in its statement that the historic land of Palestine, with Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque at its heart, is the focus of the conflict with the Zionist enemy, and there is no way to liberate it except by consolidating the option of comprehensive resistance in the face of the Zionist enemy and strengthening national unity.
