The Zionist army acknowledged on Thursday that five of its soldiers were killed during clashes with resistance forces in southern Lebanon.
The military censorship in Israel permitted the release of the soldiers' names, all of whom were members of the Golani unit. The deceased soldiers are Captain Elad Siman Tov, Captain Ofik Baker, Sergeant Yaakov Hillel, Sergeant Elishav Eitan Feder, and Sergeant Yehuda Yahalom.
Official reports indicate that, since the beginning of October, a total of 45 Zionist soldiers and settlers have been killed due to strikes by the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, attacks by Hezbollah, and confrontations within Palestine.
The Zionist military keeps actual casualty figures confidential, with censorship restricting the publication of detailed information.
The northern front continues to witness intense fighting as the Zionist army attempts to advance into southern Lebanon. Hezbollah has been actively confronting enemy forces, launching a series of operations targeting settlements in northern occupied Palestine, claiming successful hits and inflicting losses on the occupation army.
