GAZA April 25. 2024 (Saba) - The Palestinian factions in Gaza warned on Thursday of catastrophic and humanitarian repercussions and an explosion that would threaten national security in the region if the Zionist enemy army invades the city of Rafah.
The factions said in a statement The American administration and the Western community bear responsibility for any ground invasion of the city of Rafah, stressing that international forces and institutions will be complicit in any crimes committed in the city.
They also warned of an explosion that would threaten the national security of the entire region and in particular in Egypt, especially “if the enemy insists on invading Rafah,” noting that the aggression would completely stop the flow of aid to the Palestinian people through the Rafah crossing, the only remaining lifeline.
The factions added the resistance will not stand idly by, and is preparing for any scenarios, including the invasion of Rafah, and all options are open to it without exception to protect the Palestinian people and thwart the enemy’s plans.
In their statement, the factions called on the Arab and Islamic countries, the free countries, and the free peoples of the world to adopt a practical and serious stance in order to stop the aggression, break the siege, and use the power and pressure cards they possess to confront any Zionist threats to invade Rafah.
It also called on the Arab and Islamic masses and free peoples everywhere to take to the squares to denounce the continuation of the war of genocide, and to continue pressure on the official Arab and Islamic regimes and Western regimes to assume their responsibilities in stopping the war of genocide.
The factions' warning came at a time when Zionist threats to invade Rafah are escalating, amid Zionist leaks that this aggressive step is imminent.
