GAZA May 19. 2024 (Saba) - For the thirteenth consecutive day, the Zionist enemy continues to prevent the entry of food and supply aid, medical tools and supplies, and fuel to hospitals and equipment, as well as preventing the travel of the wounded and sick after the occupation of the Rafah border crossing and the closure of the Kerem Shalom crossing, which compounds the deep humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
The state media in Gaza said in a statement on Sunday carried by the Palestine Today Agency, that the occupation prevented the entry of nearly 3,000 different aid trucks, and prevented 690 wounded and sick from traveling for treatment in hospitals outside the Gaza Strip.
He stressed that this poses a clear danger in light of the collapse of the health system and the targeting, destruction, burning and complete removal of hospitals, which reinforces the occupation of the crime of genocide against civilians, children and women.
"The US administration, the European Union and the international community did not perform their duty and did not exercise the role required of them to prevent genocide, but rather gave the occupation the green light to continue this crime and continue the policies of starvation and siege in clear violation of the rules of international law and international humanitarian law," he said.
The state media condemned the continuation of the genocidal war for the eighth consecutive month, holding the Israeli occupation, the US administration, the European Union and the international community fully responsible for the continuation of this crime.
The government media called on all countries of the free world and international and UN organizations to pressure the occupation in order to stop the war of genocide, open the crossings immediately before the humanitarian catastrophe, and allow the entry of aid to more than two million and 400 thousand people living in the Gaza Strip, including two million displaced people living on aid mainly and alone.
