MOSCOW May 27. 2024 (Saba) - The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Monday that air defense systems destroyed 12 Ukrainian drones over the territory of Bryansk, Belgorod, Oryol and the Krasnodar Territory.

Sputnik quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: "Last night, attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks using drones against targets on Russian territory were thwarted."

The statement added: "The air defense systems on duty destroyed one drone over the territory of the Bryansk region, another over the Belgorod region, four drones were shot down over the Krasnodar Territory, and six drones were destroyed and intercepted over Oryol."
