MOSCOW June 05. 2024 (Saba) - Russian air defenses have successfully neutralized five Ukrainian drones flying over the territories of Belgorod, Kursk, and Voronezh provinces.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Wednesday, in a statement: "During the past night, attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks using unmanned aerial vehicles against targets on Russian Federation territory were thwarted."
The statement further detailed that Russian air defense systems "destroyed and intercepted two drones over Belgorod province, two over Kursk province, and one over Voronezh province."
Additionally, units from the "Dnieper" group repelled personnel and equipment from the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the 37th Marine Brigade in the areas of Stepanogorsk in Zaporozhye province and Tyaginka in Kherson province.
