Marib - Saba:
The founding meeting was held in Rahba District in Marib Governorate to publicize the Rahba Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society.
During the meeting, which was attended by leaders from the local authority and the General Mobilization, administrative and supervisory bodies were elected, with Sadiq Al-Qardai chosen as president of the association, Ahmed Shaddad as secretary-general, and Abdullah Murta as financial officer.
The meeting dealt with the objectives of the association, its internal regulations, and its vision to support the agricultural revolution and achieve self-sufficiency.
The representative of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, Abdullah Al-Hubaishi, stressed the importance of the association as a mediator to support farmers and provide services to the community.
The coordinators of the Bonyan Development Foundation and the branch of the Agricultural Cooperative Union also stressed the importance of strengthening cooperative work and the role of associations in agricultural expansion and achieving food security for Rahba District.
