Sana'a – SABA:
The Minister of Interior, Major General Abdulkarim Amir Al-Din Al-Houthi, has directed a reduction in old traffic violation fees and an exemption from late renewal fees for vehicle registration ("ownership card") for thirty days.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the General Traffic Department indicated that this decision, made in honor of the upcoming month of Ramadan and consideration of citizens' circumstances, will take effect starting tomorrow, Monday.
The statement emphasized that this initiative is a final opportunity for individuals with accumulated violations to settle their dues and rectify their status. Payments can be made in person at the General Traffic Department and its branches in the provinces, or through the traffic website, mobile application, e-Sadad platform, banks, exchange companies, electronic wallets linked to the platform, or post offices in the free provinces.
