OCCUPIED AL-QUDS June 28. 2024 (Saba) - The "Israeli Ministerial Council for Political and Security Affairs (Cabinet)" has approved the legalization of five settlement outposts in the West Bank and has set plans in motion to construct thousands of new settlement units across the region.
According to Bezalel Smotrich, the Minister of Finance in the Nazi government, these decisions were made "in response to actions by the Palestinian Authority in the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice at the United Nations, including arrest warrants against senior Israeli officials, and international pressure for unilateral recognition of the Palestinian state by several countries."
The five settlement outposts, strategically located in the West Bank, include "Avitar" in Nablus, "Sadi Ephraim" and "Givat Assaf" in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, "Haletz" between Hebron and Bethlehem, and "Adorim" in Hebron. Additionally, tenders have been issued for settlement construction, and the Supreme Planning Directorate has been invited to approve plans for thousands of new settlement housing units in the occupied West Bank.
Further decisions include the enforcement of laws against unauthorized construction in the Judean Desert and the protection of heritage sites and prevention of environmental risks in Area B.
