HODEIDA July 27. 2024 (Saba) - Hodeida Governor , Mohammed Ayash Qahim, inspected the contents of the cardiac catheterization device after it was delivered to the warehouses of the General Revolution Hospital Authority, in preparation for its installation and launching its services within the development projects of the Authority's services.
During the visit, Qahim listened from Authority Hwad , Dr. Khaled Ahmed Suhail, to an explanation about the arrangements for starting the process of installing the device, which costs more than $300,000, with joint funding from the local authority in the province and Hodeida Province Support and Development Fund.
For his part, the Head of the Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority in Hodeida, Dr. Suhail, appreciated local authority leadership role in the province and its continuous interest in supporting the needs of the authority and overcoming the difficulties it faces in light of the current circumstances that the country is going through.
Hodeida Governor was also briefed on work progress on a number of projects being implemented by the Authority with the support of the "Yemen Enma" Foundation, which include the construction of the General Emergency Building, the expansion of the Intensive Care Center with an additional capacity of 25 beds, and the expansion of the inpatient departments, at a cost of $1.5 million.
He and Hospital Authority Head were also briefed on some of the medical equipment provided by the Yemen Enma Foundation, including a stone crushing device with international specifications, as the entry of the device is the first in Yemen to be provided to Al-Thawra Hospital in Hodeida, a surgical endoscope, other equipment and furniture.
Province Governor expressed his satisfaction with the continuous interest he saw in the infrastructure expansion projects of Al-Thawra Hospital Authority and the entry of modern medical devices, as well as the rapid keeping pace with the requirements of providing full medical services for the treatment and diagnosis of patients.
