BAYDA August 17. 2024 (Saba) – The Ministry of Interior has officially handed over newly reconstructed homes to affected families in Rada'a district of Bayda province, following damage from an incident that occurred during Ramadan.
The handover ceremony, attended by Bayda governor Abdullah Idris, Dhamar governor Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, Yemeni News Agency Saba Chairman Nasr al-Din Amer, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Maj. Gen. Ali al-Saifi, marked the completion of six homes rebuilt at a cost of 178 million Y.R.
Al-Saifi highlighted that the Ministry reconstructed the damaged homes in al-Hofrah neighborhood to the latest engineering standards, fully furnished them, and delivered them to their owners.
He noted that the reconstruction fulfilled the promise made by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
Governor Idris thanked the leader of the revolution for his commitment to justice and accountability, while governor al-Bukhaiti emphasized that the homes were restored to better conditions than before and that all losses were compensated.
While Amer confirmed that the handover of the homes was a fulfillment of the leader's promise and expressed appreciation for the leader's continued support and oversight of the reconstruction process.
The committee received a detailed report from engineers on the construction quality and specifications.
Residents expressed their gratitude to the leader of the revolution for the reconstruction and compensation efforts, praising the committee's effective management of the process.
