MOSCOW August 17. 2024 (Saba) - 24 servicemen of the 22nd Ukrainian Brigade surrendered to Russian forces in the village of Komarovka in Kursk Oblast, taking advantage of a channel launched by the Russian military on Telegram to accept the surrender of those wishing to lay down their weapons, the Russian news agency Novosti reported.

The news agency Novosti quoted a Russian military source as saying that 24 servicemen of the 22nd Ukrainian Mechanized Brigade surrendered in an organized manner to the Russian army near the village of Komarovka in Kursk Oblast after communicating with us via the channel FREE_SOLDIER2022.
