NEW YORK August 17. 2024 (Saba) -Israel has reduced the humanitarian area to only 11% of Gaza Strip, leading to mess and panic among the displaced, the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) said on Saturday.

Thousands of families in Gaza were displaced, the Agency added in a release on 'X', as the occupier issued new evacuation orders.

The UNRWA called anew for immediate ceasefire in Gaza Strip.

Thousands of affected Palestinian families recently arrived at the area targeted by the Israeli latest evacuation orders, the Agency's contact officer said in a separate statement, "after previous displacement orders in the southern city of Khan Younis."
