GAZA August 18. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas described the hammer attack near the village of Jit, east of Qalqilya, which killed the guard of the settlement of Kedumim, as a "heroic act." She stressed that it is a "natural response" to the continued crimes and massacres of the occupation.
Hamas leader Mahmoud Mardawi said in a press statement on Sunday that the operation comes in the context of the ongoing response to the continued attacks by settler militias in the West Bank, the latest of which happened in Qalqilya.
The continuation of resistance operations "proves once again the ability of our people to kill and injure the enemy", Mardawi said. He pointed to the failure of all attempts to suppress and restrain the resistance despite all arrests, prosecutions, and abuse.
He added: "The resistance of our people and their response to the occupation in Gaza and the West Bank will not subside as long as we have a pulsating sweat, until the end of the occupation." He called on the Palestinian masses to continue confronting the aggression of the occupation by all means until it is deterred and defeated.
