SANA'A August 20. 2024 (Saba) — Fares al-Kuhali, Undersecretary of Sana'a province for Services Affairs and Vice Chairman of the Emergency Committee, conducted an inspection visit to Shahek Dam in al-Tayyal district in the province.

During the visit, al-Kuhali, accompanied by key officials including Engineer Sami al-Turabi, assessed water levels and flood impacts at both dams.

He emphasized the need for enhanced services, environmental preservation, and improved safety measures for both residents and visitors.

The inspection highlighted the importance of maintaining the region's aesthetic appeal, integrating efforts from relevant authorities to boost domestic tourism, and encouraging local community involvement.

Al-Kuhali also urged citizens to follow guidance from tourist and safety personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience at the sites.
