AMMAN August 22. 2024 (Saba) - Farouk Al-Qaddoumi (Abu Al-Lutf), a Palestinian leader and a member of the Central Committee of the Fatah Movement, died on Thursday in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
According to the Palestine Online website, the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” mourned the great national fighter Farouk al-Qaddoumi (93), also a member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, who passed away after a long and full journey of struggle for the sake of Palestine.
Hamas said in a press statement: "The late Abu Al-Lutf was an example of steadfastness in revolutionary principles, and a strong voice in the face of all attempts to neglect and give up the rights of the Palestinian people.
"He lived as a defender of Palestine as a fighter against the occupation, rejecting all settlement and liquidation projects, most notably the ill-fated Oslo Accord, which he warned early about its dangers to our just cause."
