GAZA August 22.2024 (Saba) - On Thursday, United Nations agency described the situation in the Gaza Strip as “horrific,” stressing that there is “no safe place in the Strip,” as a result of the continued Zionist aggression.

According to Sama News Agency, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said, “The Zionist military response to the Gaza Strip on October 7th was not disciplined and did not respect the rules and laws.”

The Commissioner-General of UNRWA, Philippe Lazzarini, stressed in his statements that “UNRWA is not a problem, but rather a factor of stability in the region, but it is unable to fulfill its role in the current circumstances.”

Lazzarini added, "It is very unfortunate and frustrating when you see children inside the Gaza Strip searching in the garbage for anything they can eat or sell," pointing out that "diseases infiltrate the residents of the Gaza Strip, such as polio."
