RAYMAH August 24. 2024 (Saba) -The Emergency Committee in Raymah Governorate, headed by Governor Fares Al-Habari, discussed in its meeting on Saturday the work carried out to inventory and address the damage caused by the floods in the governorate.
The committee reviewed the preliminary report on the extent of damage to roads, homes, agricultural lands, government facilities, and emergency interventions to address the damage according to the available capabilities.
It touched on the difficulties facing the committee's work in providing equipment to complete the opening of main roads due to rockslides and providing shelter and relief assistance to affected families in various governorate districts.
The Governor of Raymah stressed the need to continue counting and removing the damage in conjunction with the continued rainfall and the flow of torrents and to provide capabilities and equipment to open roads in the affected districts to alleviate citizens' suffering.
He noted the efforts of the Emergency Committee in taking measures and initial treatments to open main and secondary roads and inspect the damage to citizens' homes and properties.
