KUWAIT - SABA: The Kuwait Stock Exchange concluded trading on Monday with its general index rising by 2.04 points, or 0.03 percent, to reach 7,181.52 points.
A total of 442.1 million shares were traded across 23,350 transactions, with a trading value of 85.1 million Kuwaiti dinars (approximately 278.5 million dollars).
The main market index saw an increase of 16.47 points, reaching 6,199.50 points. This rise was supported by trading 314.3 million shares through 15,261 transactions worth 49.7 million dinars (about 162.6 million dollars).
Conversely, the first market index declined by 1.69 points, or 0.02 percent, to 7,788.64 points, with 127.8 million shares traded through 8,089 transactions valued at 35.4 million dinars (approximately 115.8 million dollars).
Additionally, the (Main 50) index rose by 34.37 points, or 0.58 percent, reaching 5,978.56 points. This increase came from trading 191.9 million shares through 6,846 transactions worth 27.6 million dinars (about 90.3 million dollars).
