A meeting at the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Investment today discussed on Wednesday aspects related to localizing the tahini halva industry.
The meeting reviewed the conditions of local producing factories and their production capacity, as well as the necessary procedures to visit their production capacities to meet local demand and protect the local product.
The meeting stressed the importance of gradually increasing local production, protecting imported products, and benefiting from the advantages and facilities included in the new investment law.
It also highlighted the importance of supporting sesame cultivation to ensure the availability of raw materials for local production.
