NEW YORK - SABA: The UN rapporteur Francesca Albanese has criticized the violence by both the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank, describing it as unprecedented.
She highlighted the illegality of Israel's presence in Palestinian territories and the impunity enjoyed by Israeli authorities, which allows them to violate international law.
Albanese also mentioned that the UN agency UNRWA has been targeted in a smear campaign and that settler violence is part of a broader policy aimed at ethnic cleansing and consolidation of control over the occupied territories.
