Dhamar-Saba: Today, the Deputy Prime Minister, scholar Muhammad Muftah, along with the Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development, Dr. Muhammad Al-Madani, assessed the damage inflicted on homes, agricultural lands, and roads in the Al-Jurf Bani Musa Mikhlaf Qwair and Al-Hassab areas of Wadi Al-Khashab in the Wusab As-Safil district of Dhamar Governorate. This damage was due to the heavy rains that affected extensive areas of the district in late August, resulting in numerous casualties, destruction of homes, and extensive damage to wells, roads, and agricultural lands.
During the visit, Muftah and Al-Madani praised the efforts made to relief the afflicted, mitigate the scale of the disaster, and reopen damaged roads and drinking water wells.
They stressed the keenness of the revolutionary and political leadership and the government to touch the concerns and aspirations of the people of the areas affected by the floods, and to work to overcome the effects on society, agricultural lands and rural roads, which are an important artery to deliver the necessities of life to the residents of those areas.
