Sana'a - Saba: Appeals and demands are increasing for the leaders of Arab and Islamic countries, the free world and the peoples of the world to stop the war, genocide and Zionist massacres against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the aggression on Lebanon, and to prevent the ongoing bombing of displaced persons shelters in the besieged Strip, and to bring in food aid.
To the sound of the drums of war beating in Lebanon following the ongoing Zionist aggression, bombing and escalation, and the continuation of genocide and brutal massacres in the Gaza Strip. The meetings of the United Nations General Assembly were held, in light of an American military mobilization to support the usurping entity in its aggression and expansion of the conflict in the region that threatens international peace and security.
It seems that this platform, which failed again to stop the Gaza war, also witnessed the failure of the American president to galvanize the leaders and leaders of the world and spread hope in the possibility of establishing peace in conflict areas in the world, especially the Middle East, which is preparing according to a broad consensus to enter into a comprehensive war for which the United States will bear the consequences of what the region has reached.
All eyes are on the scenarios of escalation or calm on the one hand, and the ability of the axis extending from Iran to Hezbollah, Hamas, Yemen, Iraq and Syria to restore the rules of engagement and deterrence on the other hand, in light of perceptions that are changing the shape of the region and seeking to draw new balances.
In this context, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned in a speech before the UN General Assembly that "Lebanon is on the brink of the abyss", expressing his fears that this country could become "another Gaza".
Guterres told the leaders of 193 countries gathered in New York: "Gaza is a permanent nightmare that threatens to drag the entire region into chaos, starting with Lebanon... The Lebanese people and other peoples of the world cannot allow Lebanon to become another Gaza."
US President Joe Biden delivered his last speech to world leaders at the United Nations on Tuesday, saying that a diplomatic solution between the Zionist entity and the Lebanese Hezbollah is still possible.
Biden added before the UN General Assembly: "All-out war is not in anyone's interest, even if the situation escalates, a diplomatic solution is still possible." He called on the Zionist entity and Hamas to put the final touches on a ceasefire agreement in Gaza and the release of hostages proposed by the United States, Qatar and Egypt.
But despite American statements to try to contain the escalation in the region, they always come with contradictory components, as the content or substance of the statement or declaration or speeches in their linguistic formulation suggests the meaning or position, and its opposite at the same time, even if the statement is short and in one line. In other words, American politicians in general are well trained to make their answers to press questions or their speeches and official statements "ambiguous" and satisfy all parties.
America supplies the "Zionist entity" with abundant, unprecedented military equipment and internationally prohibited weapons, and is waging fierce wars in Yemen, Iraq and Syria on its behalf, to enable it to continue its annihilation of Gaza, people and stones.
America uses the effective "veto" weapon to prevent the UN Security Council from condemning the Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people, and obstructing any efforts to issue a resolution to cease fire in the Strip.. So unconditional American support is the clear position "as clear as the sun in the sky".
In the same vein, the Italian Prime Minister reiterated in a speech before the United Nations the urgent appeal from the international community, which fears that the Palestinian-Zionist conflict will ignite the entire Middle East.. saying: "It is necessary to reach a ceasefire in Gaza without delay and to release the Zionist hostages".
Meloni added: "We can no longer witness tragedies like those that occurred before our eyes in recent days in southern and eastern Lebanon, with defenseless civilians, including many children."
In his speech, King Abdullah II of Jordan warned that the forced displacement of Palestinians by the Zionist entity would constitute a "war crime".
He denounced what he described as "extremists who constantly promote the idea of Jordan as an alternative homeland", stressing that "this will never happen".
He also urged the international community to join "a massive relief effort to deliver food, clean water, medicine and other vital supplies to those most in need" in the Gaza Strip.
For his part, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian criticized the genocide committed by the Zionist entity in Gaza, saying: "It is imperative that the international community work immediately... to secure a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and put an end to the desperate barbarism pursued by "Israel" in Lebanon, before it spreads to the region and the world."
He added: "We seek to achieve peace for all and we have no intention of conflict with any country... Iran opposes war and stresses the need to stop the military conflict in Ukraine immediately."
In turn, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said: "The United Nations system is dying in Gaza", adding: "Not only children are dying, but the United Nations system is also dying in Gaza", stressing that the United Nations is no longer doing what is expected of it.
Erdogan continued: "The values that the West claims to defend are dying... and I ask the question frankly: O human rights organizations, aren't those living in Gaza and the West Bank human beings?"... stressing that Gaza has become "the largest cemetery for children and women in the world."
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva warned on Tuesday of the danger of the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip extending to Lebanon, saying that Brazil and China have proposed a six-point plan to start talks between Russia and Ukraine to end the conflict between them.
At the popular level, demonstrations and marches took place in several Arab and international countries in support of the Palestinians and the Lebanese resistance and to condemn the aggression on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
Arab, European, American cities and a number of countries around the world witnessed demonstrations and marches rejecting the Zionist war on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, and demanding an immediate end to the war.
The demonstrators denounced what they described as "Western complicity" in the crimes committed by the Zionist entity in Gaza and the aggression on Lebanon, calling on Western governments to stop exporting weapons to the usurping entity.
