The Supreme Authority for Science, Technology, and Innovation announced on Sunday the launch of the seventh season of its annual competition for creative and innovative entrepreneurs.
During a press conference, Dr. Munir al-Qadhi, head of the authority, emphasized that this competition remains the largest of its kind in Yemen. He stated that the authority aims to provide the best opportunities for creative youth, ensuring they have a a base environment for their ideas and projects that promotes their development and growth in a scientific and realistic manner.
Dr. al-Qadhi highlighted the authority's commitment to engaging as many creative youths as possible, both at home and abroad, to help achieve national goals and aspirations. He noted that the authority's ongoing efforts are designed to enhance their creativity and innovation, ultimately benefiting the community and society at large.
In his remarks, which were supported by the Vice Chairman of the Authority, Dr. Abdulaziz al-Hawri, and other officials, Dr. al-Qadhi pointed out that the annual competition has successfully transformed numerous creative projects into reality in previous seasons, thanks to the dedication of project owners.
The authority will continue with the vision established in the previous season, reflecting years of work and development. This year, it has allocated three cars as prizes for the top personal projects and an additional car for projects supported by institutions, along with cash prizes for all participants, which will vary by stage.
Dr. al-Qadhi encouraged creators, innovators, and researchers to seize this opportunity and participate in the competition. He urged interested individuals to review the competition guidelines available on the authority's website at http://hasti.gov.ye/re.
He also expressed gratitude for the support and interest shown by the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in promoting the authority’s activities and projects, which aim to fulfill its foundational goals.
