The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources in Yemen organized a workshop in Sana'a to discuss the development of public policies for agricultural and fisheries extension and information. The workshop aimed to establish scientific foundations, rules, standards, and controls for these policies based on Quranic methodology.
The workshop brought together agricultural and fisheries media cadres and the General Administration of Extension and Training. Participants reviewed the process of organizing and preparing policies in media and extension and shared their proposals for policy review and improvement.
The Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Dr. Radwan Al-Rubai, emphasized the importance of building policies based on well-studied principles and avoiding randomness. He stressed the importance of the guidelines presented by the martyred leader Sayyid Hussein bin Badr al-Din al-Houthi for agricultural advancement and development.
