The Italian authorities summoned the Zionist entity's ambassador to Italy over the wounding of a UNIFIL member by enemy fire.
In a press conference, Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto considered that "what Israel did to the Italian battalion is a war crime and that this is not an unintentional mistake but a deliberate act."

The Indian government said in a statement: "We are concerned about the deteriorating security situation in southern Lebanon , along the border and continue to monitor the situation closely." "The sanctity of UN premises must be respected and appropriate measures must be taken to ensure the safety of UN peacekeepers and the sanctity of their mandate," the Indian government said in a statement.
The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned in the strongest terms the systematic and deliberate Zionist targeting of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). In a statement, it emphasized that the repeated Zionist attacks against the peacekeeping forces and illegally asking them to vacate their positions in southern Lebanon in violation of their mandate set by the Security Council is a dangerous precedent and confirms once again the Zionist entity's violation of international legitimacy, its non-compliance with international laws , conventions, international humanitarian law, and may constitute a war crime, in addition to its blatant and continuous violation of UN Security Council resolutions.
It added: "These deliberate attacks put the safety and security of UNIFIL forces at serious risk, for which Israel is responsible... These targets cannot be separated from the repeated and continuous Zionist attempts to undermine UNIFIL's mission, obstruct the annual renewal of its mandate, and revoke the mandate given to it by the Security Council."
On behalf of Lebanon, the ministry called on the Security Council, the international community and the countries contributing to UNIFIL to open an investigation into the matter, take a firm and firm stance on these attacks, and strongly condemn them because failure to deter Israel and put an end to its violations will allow it to continue its attacks on UNIFIL and send the wrong message that could have serious consequences for UN peacekeeping missions around the world , for the safety of its personnel and property.
Despite repeated attacks in recent days by the Zionist enemy army, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has reaffirmed its intention to remain in place in southern Lebanon.
UNIFIL spokesperson Andrea Tenenti said: The peacekeepers will not leave their positions, despite the significant security challenges they face on Lebanon's border with occupied Palestine.
The Zionist enemy army continues its repeated attacks on UNIFIL headquarters in south Lebanon; after targeting a UNIFIL headquarters in Naqoura on Thursday, enemy forces again targeted a UNIFIL observation tower in Naqoura on Friday, injuring two soldiers, one of whom is in critical condition.
The Zionist attack also led to the closure of the entrance to the center, while the enemy fired an artillery shell targeting the main entrance to the center in the same place.
On Thursday, UNIFIL announced that two of its members were injured in a Zionist shell that targeted three of its positions, which sparked a wave of European condemnation of the Zionist attacks.
Earlier, a Hezbollah field officer confirmed to Al-Mayadeen TV that the Zionist enemy is trying to use UNIFIL forces as human shields in order to cover up its failure to advance.
The officer said: "The Mujahideen reported monitoring an unusual movement of Zionist enemy forces behind a UNIFIL military position in the town of Maroun al-Ras, while the resistance operations room asked the Mujahideen to wait and not deal with the movement, in order to protect the lives of UNIFIL soldiers," the officer said.
