The General Authority for Antiquities and Museums condemned the Zionist enemy forces' systematic aggression against ancient and Islamic monuments in Lebanon and Gaza.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Authority pointed out that this criminal act is no different from what the countries of the aggression coalition have done to the antiquities of Yemen.
The statement emphasized that these hostile practices show that those behind the aggression against Yemen, Gaza and Lebanon are the same, even if the perpetrators differ.
The commission called on international and private organizations interested in antiquities and cultural heritage to criminalize aggressors against antiquities and to contribute seriously with government agencies in protecting and restoring antiquities and returning what has been smuggled to Western museums and auctions.
