Supreme Political Council member Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Habtoor on Saturday expressed his condolences following the passing of Professor Wahib Abdulrahim Bahadela, recognizing his significant contributions to academia and medicine.

In a telegram to Bahadela's family members, Dr. Bin Habtoor highlighted Professor Bahadela legacy as a pioneering figure in the medical field, noting his early role as the first dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Aden.

He commended the professor for his dedication to medical service at Aboud Hospital, which earned him widespread respect and recognition, including an honor from the university on its 40th anniversary.

Dr. Bin Habtoor conveyed that Yemen, particularly the city of Aden and its university, has lost a distinguished academic and esteemed physician known for his humility and integrity.
