A meeting in Sana'a discussed on Tuesday the plan to prepare for the implementation of the road traffic police expansion project's second phase, which includes the "Sana'a - Dhamar - Ibb - Taiz" road, and the "Sana'a - Amran - Sa'ada" road, as well as the "Sana'a - Amran - Sa'ada" road.
The meeting, which included the Director General of the Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, and the representative of the Transport and Public Works Ministry , Engineer Nabil Al-Haifi, discussed the revolutionary leadership's directives, the Supreme Political Council and the directives of the leadership of the Interior Ministry to implement the project based on the positive results achieved by the Road Traffic Police on the Sana'a-Hodeida road in providing humanitarian, charity, ambulance and rescue services to citizens.
Participants in the meeting stressed the importance of concerted efforts of all concerned and relevant authorities in implementing traffic safety works on long roads within the scope of service delivery centers in light of the traffic police's development plan and its executive mechanism.
They valued the efforts of the Interior Ministry in serving the community, providing duty to road users and restoring traffic discipline. They emphasized their keenness to support the steps and measures to enhance traffic safety.
The Director General of the Traffic Police, Dr. Al-Barashi, expressed appreciation to the Chairman of the Road Maintenance Fund , all technical staff and engineers for their role and positive interaction with the Traffic Police in order to provide better traffic services.
