Taiz - Saba:

The mass marches in Taiz, Yemen, Friday reflect the country's continued and resolute support for Gaza and Lebanon amid ongoing aggression by the Occupation.

These demonstrations, under the slogan "With Gaza and Lebanon... Readiness and mobilization against the forces of arrogance," showcased the strong moral and religious commitment of the Yemeni people to the Palestinian and Lebanese causes.

The large crowds, led by prominent local figures such as the acting governor of Taiz, Ahmed al-Masawi, and member of the Shura Council, Mansour Saddam, condemned the actions of the occupation entity, describing the ongoing violence in Gaza as a form of genocide and forced displacement.

The participants reaffirmed their determination to stand alongside Gaza and Lebanon, no matter the global political dynamics or the challenges posed by foreign powers, particularly the U.S.

A statement issued by the marchers criticized the "criminal Zionists" for their ongoing attacks, which have not only affected Gaza but have also spread to the West Bank and Lebanon.

The statement further emphasized the Yemeni people's unwavering position of support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, portraying their actions as an act of jihad for justice and faith, alongside an open commitment to mobilize and remain engaged in the struggle.

It also issued a direct message to U.S. leadership, particularly former President Donald Trump, claiming that Yemeni resilience would not be swayed by American power or alliances with the Occupation. Despite the failure of previous foreign interventions in the region, Yemen vowed to remain steadfast in its support for the resistance in Gaza and Lebanon.

In addition to the political statement, the marches highlighted the humanitarian side of the cause, calling for continued support through donations to aid displaced Palestinians and other victims of the conflict. The coming week is dedicated to organizing popular campaigns for the continued funding and humanitarian relief for Gaza's people.

These events underscore Yemen’s deep-rooted ideological and religious stance on the Palestinian cause, presenting it as not only a political issue but a moral and religious duty for the Yemeni people to confront "the forces of arrogance" — a term used to describe Israel and its allies in the region.
