Sana'a - Saba:
The Wounded Foundation launched on Monday a new initiative in the capital Sana'a, distributing essential medicines and medical supplies to the Fifth Military Region and the West Coast Medical Complex.
The project, valued at 17.6 million riyals, aims to support medical centers in these regions with critical supplies, including medicines, medical equipment, operating room tools, and artificial respirators.
At the inauguration, Dr. Ali al-Dhahyani, Executive Director of the Wounded Foundation, emphasized that this effort is part of the Foundation's broader mission to assist institutions caring for the wounded.
He noted that the initiative was carried out in line with directives from the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, recognizing the sacrifices of those injured in the defense of the country.
Dr. Al-Dhahyani also called on local businesses, philanthropists, and other governmental and community organizations to contribute to similar initiatives aimed at alleviating the suffering of the wounded in Yemen.
Zaid Ali Amer, Project Manager at the Wounded Foundation, highlighted the ongoing support the organization has provided to the wounded and related medical facilities, stating that this project is part of the Foundation’s continuous program to enhance healthcare services for those affected by the ongoing conflict.
