Sana'a - Saba:
Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Ali Al-Yafei directed on Monday to refer four workers in the tourism sector to legal affairs and suspend them from work until the completion of their investigation, against the backdrop of a complaint of blackmailing a citizen.

Minister Al-Yafei and his deputy Abdullah Al-Washli summoned the citizen (A.A.B.) and listened to his complaint, emphasizing that the ministry will not allow any corruption of any kind. They pointed out that fighting corruption is part of the goals of the September 21st Revolution and the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership.

According to the complaint, the citizen was extorted while trying to obtain a license to open a facility.

The citizen thanked the Culture and Tourism Ministry leadership for its interaction and seriousness in dealing with citizens' complaints.
