The Secretary General of the Local Council in Sana'a province, Abdul Qader Al-Jilani, inaugurated on Tuesday the 14th exhibition "Anamul Yemeniya" to market the products of productive families, organized by the General Department of Women's Development in the province over a period of one week, as part of the martyr's anniversary commemoration.
Al-Jilani, along with the province's deputy governors, Saleh Al-Muntasser, Abdullah Al-Tahiri and Mohammed Ayed, reviewed the contents of the exhibition of the products of a number of martyrs' families, including popular foods, juices, locally made foodstuffs, traditional clothing, accessories, perfumes and handicrafts.
The Secretary-General emphasized the importance of the exhibition in developing local industries and adopting them as an alternative to foreign products, and enabling productive families to rely on themselves in the production process, praising the role of Yemeni women and their steadfastness in facing the current challenges over the aggression and blockade years .
He urged productive families and those in charge of women's affairs to pay attention to quality and enhance competition for imported products by participating with their various products , industries to market , sell them in periodic and permanent exhibitions to contribute to the national campaign success to boycott American , Zionist goods and products, stressing the support of the provincial leadership for such works that encourage local production and contribute to self-sufficiency.
