The outcome of the arrest campaigns launched by the Zionist enemy forces since the seventh of October 2023 in the occupied West Bank has reached more than 11,700 cases, including 435 women and 765 children.
The Commission for Prisoners and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoners' Club, and the Addameer Association for Prisoner Support and Human Rights said in a joint statement that the highest number of arrests was recorded in the cities of Hebron and Jerusalem.
It pointed out that the arrests and detention of journalists amounted to 135 journalists, of whom 58 remain in detention, including six female journalists, and at least 31 journalists from Gaza whose identities have been verified.
About administrative detention, she pointed out that the number of orders reached more than ten thousand orders, between new orders and renewal orders, including orders against children and women.
The prisoners' institutions explained that the continuous arrest campaigns are accompanied by escalating crimes and violations, including abuse and severe beatings, threats against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread vandalism and destruction in citizens' homes, and the confiscation of vehicles, money, and gold jewelry.
It also affected the large-scale destruction of infrastructure, specifically in the camps of Tulkarm, and Jenin, and its camp, the demolition of houses belonging to families of prisoners, the use of members of their families as hostages, in addition to the use of detainees as human shields.
