Sana'a - Saba:
The Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Judge Mujahid Ahmed, launched the toll-free legal aid service to support vulnerable groups in society, including women, children, the poor, and the insolvent. The service aims to provide legal guidance, specialized consultations, and follow-up complaints and reports to ensure that beneficiaries receive the necessary support.
The minister explained that this step comes as part of the ministry's efforts to expand its services in accordance with the security and justice sector plan for the year 1444 AH / 2022 AD, as the service allows direct communication with legal and social specialists to help beneficiaries deal with their legal cases. The service also includes follow-up complaints with the concerned authorities within the ministry or judicial bodies.
The minister listened to an explanation about the mechanism of the toll-free line and directed to coordinate efforts with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor to follow up on juvenile issues and to increase working hours until ten in the evening during official working days.
