Gaza - Saba:
Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the Gaza Strip Hussam Abu Safiya on Monday said that the hospital is still suffering from the Zionist targeting and siege, stressing that what is being circulated about the occupation allowing the entry of medical aid is "inaccurate".
Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya added, in statements to al-Youm al-Youm newspaper, that despite providing humanitarian services, "the Zionist enemy continues to target us and this is a crime".
He explained that the enemy forces prevented the World Health Organization from bringing in food, medicine and specialized medical delegations, noting that the organization's ambulances were subjected to a thorough search, and food was confiscated from them in the streets, before the medical delegation was forced to return.
He added that the Zionist enemy allowed the entry of only seven boxes of medical supplies out of 40 required boxes, which led to a severe shortage in the supplies needed to treat the injured.
Abu Safiya appealed to the world to stop the Zionist war machine against the citizens in the northern Gaza Strip and the health system in particular.
For the 45th consecutive day, the Zionist enemy army continues its war of genocide and suffocating siege on the northern Gaza Strip.
