Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning predicted cold and very cold weather in a number of governorates, and sporadic rainfall in parts of Socotra Governorate during the next 24 hours.
The center said in its weather bulletin that it expects cold to very cold weather during the night and early morning in the governorates of Saada, Amran, Sana'a, Dhamar and Al-Bayda, with minimum temperatures ranging between 03-06 degrees Celsius.
It is also expected that the weather will be cold in the highlands of Ibb, Lahj and Abyan governorates.
The center indicated the possibility of sporadic rains accompanied by thunder sometimes on parts of Socotra Archipelago Governorate and the northeast and southwest coasts of the archipelago.
The lowest temperatures recorded at some weather stations this morning were 3.5 in Dhamar (Rasaba), 6.4 in Amran, and 7 in Sana'a.
The center warned citizens in mountainous areas, especially children, the elderly and workers during the night and early morning hours from the cold and very cold weather.
The center urged farmers to take the necessary measures to protect their agricultural crops, as well as beekeepers and livestock herders to shelter them in warm places.
The center warned citizens in the Socotra archipelago against being in the valleys of medicines and torrential streams when it rains.
