A drone belonging to the Zionist enemy army launched an attack last night in which it bombed the electric generator of Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.
The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, said in a statement: “The occupation aircraft bombed the electricity generator in the hospital yard with a drone,” noting that it caused very great damage, especially since there is no alternative to this generator, on which all departments of the hospital depend.
Abu Safiya added: “In light of the ongoing siege, we do not have any possibilities to repair this devastation.”
He emphasized that “the crimes of the occupation continue unceasingly, in light of the international silence towards everything that happens against the health system, specifically Kamal Adwan Hospital.”
A number of medical staff inside Kamal Adwan Hospital were injured when bombs thrown by drones exploded.
For the 46th consecutive day, the occupation army is besieging the northern Gaza Strip, committing the worst humanitarian crimes against the population, especially in Jabalia camp and Beit Lahia town, resulting in more than 2,000 martyrs and 6,000 injuries.
