The Capital Sana'a Clubs Pioneers Football Championship has officially kicked off at the Recreational Club Stadium in the Capital Sana'a.
The event, organized by the Sports for All Federation and supported by Yemen Mobile Company, features eight teams representing players from the capital's clubs.
In the opening matches, Azal team triumphed over al-Wahda with a 3-2 victory, while Shaab Sana'a secured a 2-1 win against al-Yarmouk.
The championship, which is set to last for eight days, will continue tomorrow with two more matchups. In the first, al-Ahly Sana'a will face al-Arabiya, followed by a match between 22 May team and Police team. The tournament is being held under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
