With their win against Leganes on Sunday, Rial Madrid minimized the difference with traditional rival, Barcelona, as part of the 14th round of the Spanish football competition.
The 3-0 win places the royal club second with 30 points, i.e. 4 points before Barcelona that tied 2-2 against Silta Vigo on Saturday.
At another match, Seville won Rayo Vallecano 1-0 in the same round, increasing their points to 18 at the 12th place.
