Seoul - Saba:
South Korea's exports grew year-on-year for the 14th consecutive month in November, thanks to the strong performance of the chip sector, according to data from the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

Yonhap news agency quoted the ministry as saying on Sunday: Exports rose 1.4 percent year-on-year to 56.3 billion U.S. dollars last month.

Imports fell 2.4 percent year-on-year to $50.7 billion, resulting in a trade surplus of $5.61 billion.

Korea has run a trade surplus for 18 consecutive months.
