Gaza - Saba:
Palestinian medical sources revealed, on Wednesday, that the oxygen stations have completely stopped working in Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, endangering the lives of patients.
In a press statement, the sources explained that the oxygen stations have completely stopped in Kamal Adwan Hospital, and maintenance crews are unable to repair the malfunctions due to the Israeli drones firing heavily in the vicinity of the hospital.
Yesterday, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, confirmed that the Israeli occupation army shelled the hospital five times during the day, indicating that the medical staff are exhausted due to the crimes committed in the northern Gaza Strip.
Abu Safiya said in a press release: "Today, for the fifth time, Kamal Adwan Hospital was targeted in a horrific and merciless manner, with drones dropping shrapnel-filled bombs that hit and injure anyone who moves."
"The situation has become very serious," he warned. Kamal Adwan Hospital was barbarically attacked by drones, and once again, the (Israeli) occupation is focusing its attacks on medical teams," he warned.
Abu Safiya added: "Three of our medical staff were injured, one of them is in serious condition and is undergoing complex surgery in the operating room."
Expressing the magnitude of the tragedy, Abu Safiya concluded his statement by saying, "We are exhausted by the ongoing violence and atrocities. Why are we subjected to such brutality? Every day, the hospital is systematically targeted."
