Jawf - Saba:
The Secretary-General of the Local Council in Al-Jawf Governorate, Ali Humaid, inaugurated today the works on the project to build a stream path in the city of Al-Hazm, the center of the governorate.

At the inauguration, the Secretary General of the local governorate pointed to the importance of this vital project, which contributes to alleviating the suffering of the people of Al-Hazm city and protecting them from the risks of floods and natural disasters, considering the project a safety belt for the area located at the junction of a number of valleys and torrential streams in Al-Jawf Center.

He stressed the need for concerted efforts of all, encouraging community initiatives and mobilizing resources, in order to complete the project work and complete it within the specified period.

Shagia al-Makrami, director of works in the al-Hazm district, explained that the project is being funded by the local authority in Al-Jawf governorate and the Yemen Al-Khair Foundation for Relief and Development, and at $ 77,000 for the first phase of the construction works.
