North Korea strongly condemns the attacks by terrorist groups with western powers north Syria, and fully supports Syria in its fair struggle to defend its sovereignty and territories' integrity, spokesman for the Korean foreign ministry said on Thursday.
Terrorists of different types recently carried out a terrorist attack, with military support from foreign powers, destroyed peaceful cities and villages, killed innocent civilians, and committed heinous crimes against humanity, he added in remarks carried by the North Korean central agency.
The terrorist crimes occur in Syria amid Arab peoples' growing hopes and expectations for peace and stability in the Middle East, thanks to the ceasefire recently reached in Lebanon, the spokesman said.
