Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Saadi honored today the winners of the first methodological and cultural competition for the martyrs' children in Capital Secretariat, for students from sixth to third grade.
At the event, which was organized by the education sector in the Secretariat, in cooperation with the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families, the Minister of Education and Scientific Research stressed the importance of caring for the martyrs' children in the educational and scientific fields.
He emphasized the need to continue to care for the children of martyrs and pay attention to their families. He pointed out the importance of paying attention to the rising generation in the scientific, cultural, educational , jihadist fields and specialties that the country requires during the current stage.
"Without the blood and sacrifices of martyrs, we would not have been able to build homelands and their institutions in various fields of life and obtain our pride and dignity, at a time when the pride, dignity and building of homelands fell away from those whose people moved away from God's righteous path," he said.
The Minister of Education and Scientific Research praised the efforts of the Education Sector at the Secretariat and the General Authority for Martyrs' Families Welfare in organizing the important competition for the children of martyrs' families. He stressed that the competition will be held for the martyrs' children in other provinces in the coming years.
Al-Mahdi explained that the methodological competition involved three thousand male and female students who competed in three stages and ended with the victory of 320 male and female students. Al-Mahdi said that the competition is an incentive for students to be diligent in their scientific, cultural and moral achievements.
He called on the Martyrs' Families Welfare Authority to cooperate with the education sector of the Secretariat in implementing the plans that have been prepared to take care of the children of martyrs. He praised the efforts of the leadership of the Ministry of Education, the Martyrs' Families Welfare Authority and all those who participated in the success of this competition.
In turn, the speech of the martyrs' children, delivered by student Al-Hussein Al-Junaid, praised the interest and care of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, the Education Sector in the Secretariat and the General Authority for Martyrs' Families .
It emphasized that the martyrs' families will continue to follow the path of the martyrs, and that they will be the best successors to the best predecessors.
