Amad Diallo then scored the winning goal in the 90th minute, securing a crucial victory for Manchester United.

Manchester City's balance froze at 27 points in fifth place after receiving its fifth loss in the last ten rounds, while Manchester United overcame the setback of losing in its past two games against Arsenal and Nottingham Forest to raise its tally to 22 points in 12th place.
